Approval workflow

An approval workflow is the agreed path a post takes from draft to “yes”: who reviews it, in what order and where the feedback goes. It keeps posts from going out unchecked.

Without a workflow, feedback arrives in emails, chats and screenshots, and nobody is sure which version was approved. With one, every comment sits on the version it was about.

Keep it as short as the brand allows: one reviewer for routine posts, more for campaigns and claims. A deadline for feedback keeps the calendar moving.

Example

An agency's workflow: the writer drafts, the account manager checks the brief, the client approves the final version by link.
